My name is Ashleigh, but I prefer to go by Ash. (Ashleigh feels too formal)
I am a very creative person with many artful outlets.
I am very passionate about nature and people, and I’m currently working to educate youth about the wonders of our natural world and why we should care for and protect it!
Facepainting is a hobby that turned into a feasible career when I moved back to Cape Town & met Christine!
I love working at Magical Parties because it grants me access to some really wonderful opportunities. Allowing me to make good money off of my creativity, while still having time to pursue my many other passions!
What do you do at Magical Parties? I am a face painter
What is your signature style? I would say that my style is “Refined, but Wild” because I am a self-taught artist who has received training to refine my skills. I put my own spin on each design, keeping it simple and effective, while maintaining the magic that we are known and loved for!
What is your Favorite colour? I always say that “The Rainbow” is my favourite colour- because how could I possibly choose one! But if I had to, I’d say the green family, leaning towards blue (turquoise).
What is your Favourite design to Paint? My Rainbow Tiger design!
What you love most about working with kids? I love the simple things that they find joy in, how easy it is to make friends, and how their faces light up when they see themselves in the mirror!
